There are some workflows that power merchant stores that are never seen. For example, data may be passed from Shopify to many different systems (e.g. Netsuite, Klaviyo, etc.), and some data may be pulled in to Shopify from other systems.

In this tutorial, we will walk through how to export data from Shopify and send it to a secure FTP server (SFTP) using Flow Buddy.

What are we building

We are building a workflow that will export order details to a SFTP server when an order is created.

Prerequisites

What you will need to get started:

• Access to Shopify admin
• The Shopify Flow app installed
• The Flow Buddy app installed
• Credentials to SFTP

To get started, log in to your Shopify Admin and navigate to the Flow Buddy application.

Click the Configure button in the SFTP section.

Now you will need to configure your SFTP server in the Flow Buddy application.
